Bicycle Award for Children Reading Books in Muğla: Metropolitan Municipality distributed 24 bicycles
Within the scope of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality's Journey to Books You, Your Bicycle Metropolitan ”project, 24 children who read the most books were given to Kavaklıdere Children's Library.
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the project “Journey to Books, Your Bike Metropolitan” project in order to support children's reading habits.
Kavaklıdere Ortaköy Neighborhood Headman Filiz Tufan's initiative and the support of the Metropolitan Municipality, the project was realized to facilitate the access of children to the book and increase the motivation of reading.

Ortaköy Neighborhood Headman Filiz Tufan stated that they started this project to instill the love of books for children and said, “After the election of the muhtar, we thought what we could do for children and decided to open a children's library.
"Reading habit is investment in the future"
Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Aras said, ız We should make our children a habit of reading at an early age and turn them into individuals who question and investigate.
