TEMAD Chairman Cahit Koca: "If our compensation right is not enacted until October 17, we will land in the squares"
Retired non -commissioned officers gathered in Niğde on July 15, after the tomb of Martyr Omar Halisdemir'i, personal rights and compensation demands expressed from the Monument Tower.
Cahit Koca, Chairman of the Association of Retired Petty Officers of Turkey (TEMAD), made a speech on 15 July 2025 within the scope of the commemoration program held at the grave of Martyr Petty Officer Ömer Halisdemir in Çukurkuyu town of Borkuyu district of Niğde.
Hundreds of retired non -commissioned officers and families from all over Turkey attended the commemoration event.
"If the words are not kept, the action will begin"
Referring to the demands of TEMAD for years in his speech, Koca said that personal rights and compensation problems are still not solved, he said.
Koca said that the non -commissioned community has economic and social burnout and said, “The personnel in the mission are struggling with the shortage of livelihoods, and the retirees are struggling to survive at the hunger border.”

TEMAD Chairman Cahit Koca, also called for colleagues unity.
Stating that they have been carrying out a balanced negotiation process since December 2, 2024, Koca said, “Today we decide to make our voice more powerful from the squares and social media. We will continue our struggle with the target of 50 thousand members.”

Prior to the speech, prayers were at the grave of Martyr Petty Officer Ömer Halisdemir.
