Epidemic is under control
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry reported that the fight against Foot and Mouth (SAT1) disease continues on a planned and scientific basis throughout the country.

Vaccination Rate Reached 92 Percent
According to the statement, while all cattle in Turkey were subjected to the first round of vaccination process, the second round of vaccination campaign was started.

Judicial Process Started Against Unscientific Allegations
The Ministry reported that legal proceedings were initiated against people who shared false posts on social media about vaccines making animals sick.

Field Teams are on Duty 24/7
It was stated that veterinary health personnel work in the field 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that inspection, vaccination and sampling activities continue uninterrupted.

In Constant Contact with International Organizations
The Ministry announced that technical information sharing continues with the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and that developments in our country are regularly reported to these institutions.

In the statement, "All measures are being implemented with determination to protect animal health and sustainability of animal husbandry."
