The 105th anniversary of the liberation of the Black Sea Eregli was celebrated with an enthusiastic ceremony
Speaking at the ceremony held on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the liberation of the Black Sea Ereğli from the enemy occupation, Batuhan Güce, Deputy Mayor, pointed out the city's role in the struggle for independence, ‘Alemdar Ship's resistance was the hope of all Anatolia’.

The 105th anniversary of the liberation of the Black Sea Ereğli from the enemy occupation was celebrated with a ceremony held in front of the Atatürk Monument.
‘Fire of independence has gone down in history’
Speaking at the ceremony, which started with a stance of respect and a wreath, Deputy Mayor Batuhan Güce explained the resistance of the city people 105 years ago with the following words: ‘Today, we celebrate the 105th anniversary of the Black Sea Ereğli's liberation from the enemy occupation with great pride and enthusiasm.

In his speech, the Defense of Legal Society established in the Black Sea Eregli and the prominent names in the struggle, said, ‘The people of Ereğli took action with the spirit of Kuvayı Milliye;
Carnation was left to the monuments
Following the ceremony, members of the protocol and citizens, Martyrs Monument and the National Struggle Heroes left the carnations on the monument.
