Ziraat Türkiye Cup Quarterfinal Excitement Begins: Top Teams Hold Advantage in the Draw
The quarterfinal stage of the Ziraat Türkiye Cup is set to begin soon. The top four teams from the group stage—Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Konyaspor—will enter the draw as seeded teams, giving them a home advantage. Meanwhile, second-placed teams İskenderunspor, Göztepe, Bodrumspor, and Galatasaray will enter the draw unseeded and face challenging away fixtures.
Quarterfinal Pairings and Format
The matchups for the quarterfinals are already partially determined ahead of the official draw. According to the rules, teams cannot face opponents from their own group, which is particularly important for Galatasaray. Finishing second in Group C, Galatasaray will be drawn against one of the group winners: Trabzonspor (Group A), Fenerbahçe (Group B), or Beşiktaş (Group D).

When is the Quarterfinal Draw?
The draw for both the quarterfinal and semifinal stages will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025. According to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), the event will be held at Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva, specifically in the Orhan Saka Conference Hall, starting at 2:30 PM local time.
