A cease -fire agreement was made between armed groups and state in Süveyda, Syria

The clashes between the Syrian security forces and local armed groups ended in Süveyda province in the south of Syria.

In the Süveyda, where the Druze population lived intensely, had recently came up due to both internal conflicts and Israel's attacks on Damascus.

Yusuf Cerbu, the spiritual leader of Druze Society, who made a statement after the ceasefire, after what happened in contact with the state and reported that a compromise was achieved.

The main items of the agreement were explained as follows:

• The fully integration of Suezda into the state structure and the re -operation of all public institutions.

• The rights of all citizens are secured according to the principles of justice and equality.

• The establishment of a research commission for the investigation of violations and paying compensation to those who are damaged.

• To ensure the security of the Damascus - Süveyda road and the protection of citizens to the responsibility of the state.

• The withdrawal of the army to the barracks, the transfer of internal security duty to the security forces of local officers and the public.

• The regulation of heavy weapons in coordination with the interior and defense ministries and the termination of non -state armed structures.
