Bookworms in Pursaklar: Children Discover the Colorful World of Books at the 3rd Pursaklar Book Days

Pursaklar Municipality has organized the 3rd Pursaklar Book Days with the aim of promoting reading among children. The event is a vibrant gathering where children from all over Ankara come together to explore the world of books, meet their favorite authors, and even have the opportunity to get their books signed and participate in author talks.

Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin emphasized the importance of making books easily accessible for children. In his statement, he said, "The interest our children have shown in the 3rd Pursaklar Book Days is overwhelming. It is of great importance for us to help our children by encouraging them to read, which contributes to their mental and emotional development, and allows them to freely use their imagination. A single word can bring significant changes in one’s life, and being able to contribute to these positive changes by bringing children together with books is crucial. Through our Book Days event, our children have the opportunity to meet books and spend quality time. We will continue our efforts to contribute to the development of our children."
