33 Young Participants from Pursaklar Set to Travel to Italy for Volunteer Program

Pursaklar Municipality has launched a new initiative to offer international experience and cultural exchange to young people by sending them to Italy under a European Union volunteering program.

Journey to Lecce through the European Solidarity Corps
As part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), Pursaklar Municipality has announced the start of applications for the volunteer project in Lecce, Italy. Designed for youth aged 18-30, the program is supported by a grant from the Turkish National Agency.

Mayor Çetin invites young people to apply
In his statement, Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin encouraged young individuals to participate in the program: ‘‘Dear young people aged 18-30. Under the European Solidarity Corps volunteer program, with the Turkish National Agency’s grant support and Pursaklar Municipality’s coordination, we will send 33 young people abroad to learn new languages and explore different cultures. You will have the opportunity to form new friendships and experience life in a different country for 29 days. I kindly ask you to spread the word to interested and enthusiastic friends.’’

Deadline for applications: March 30, 2025
Officials stated that applications for the project, which will take place between May 5 and June 2, 2025, can be submitted until March 30, 2025. The results will be announced on the Pursaklar Municipality’s official website and social media accounts.
