Festivities Begin with Great Enthusiasm in Pursaklar for Ramadan

Pursaklar Municipality has kicked off its Ramadan program with a wide variety of events to allow its residents to fully enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of the holy month. Offering an extensive program for all age groups, the municipality has been hosting events every evening at the Yaşam Center, providing memorable moments for local residents.

Mayor Çetin's Opening Speech In his opening speech, Pursaklar Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin emphasized the joy and enthusiasm with which this year's Ramadan program started. He stated, "We are celebrating the tranquil atmosphere of Ramadan with all our fellow citizens, and this traditional Ramadan program in Pursaklar began with great enthusiasm. Through the events planned throughout Ramadan, we aim to give our citizens and children an unforgettable experience." He also expressed his gratitude to all those who participated.

What Happened at the Event? After the opening speech, the event area was filled with enthusiastic citizens who enjoyed a variety of activities. Participants took part in special Ramadan programs, which included Quran recitations, an Orhan Çakmak concert, Seymen Show, Bubble Show, and Hacivat-Karagöz performance. Fun competitions were also held, and various gifts were distributed to the attendees.

Events Throughout Ramadan Pursaklar Municipality is planning many events for the whole month of Ramadan, including religious recitals, poetry readings, whirling dervish performances, and traditional arts like calligraphy, marbling, glass blowing, pottery, and more. For children, there are creative workshops such as little painters' ateliers, stone painting workshops, face painting, and inflatable playhouses. Additionally, games like air hockey, flying balloons, and nostalgic swings will add extra fun for visitors.
