A clear statement from President Ersin Tatar to Israel's claim to intervene in the TRNC

In an analysis published in Israel Hayom newspaper based in Israel, it was claimed that Israel was working on a possible intervention plan against the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Poseidon plan came up
According to the information contained in the analysis, this plan, called “Poseidon, aims to prevent military support from Turkey, to neutralize the defense systems of the TRNC and to target strategic command centers.

The first statement from Ersin Tatar
Upon the allegations in question, the TRNC President Ersin Tatar, CNN Türk'te said that Turkey's existence in the region is the guarantee of stability.

"The heart of the Blue Vatan is TRNC"
Tatar draws attention to the position of the TRNC in the Eastern Mediterranean and said, “This is the TRNC, the heart of the Blue Vatan. Türkiye effectively manages its foreign policy. Balance is maintained under the leadership of President Erdoğan.”

"Türkiye is our guarantor"
Referring to close relations with Turkey, Tatar said, “Turkey is our state and our guarantor. We continue all kinds of cooperation. Coast Guard and Navy Commanders appointed from Türkiye are working here. Ankara is in constant communication with Ankara.”
