AKP Makes Key Changes in Central Executive Board Following MKYK Meeting

The AKP Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) meeting, chaired by President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was held behind closed doors. The meeting started at 5:46 PM and concluded at 6:01 PM.

New Appointments in MYK
Changes were made within the Central Executive Board (MYK). Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, Deputy Chairs Efkan Ala and Mustafa Elitaş will continue in their current roles, while new appointments were made in several units.

Ahmet Büyükgümüş, the Member of Parliament for Yalova, was appointed as the new Organization Chair, while Hüseyin Yayman, the Deputy Chairman and Member of Parliament for Hatay, was assigned as the President of Cultural Policies. Furthermore, Kürşad Zorlu was appointed as a new Deputy Chairman.
