Critical move to direct sales from the Ministry of Commerce: 'New regulation will finish grievances'

The Ministry of Commerce announced that it has submitted the "Draft Regulation on Direct Sales" to the public opinion of the direct sales sector to increase the reliability, transparency and fair structure of the direct sales sector.

In direct sales, which are defined as the method in which products or services are offered directly to the consumer without intermediaries, face -to -face sales are generally realized in homes and workplaces.

Customers' rights will be protected

With the new regulation, it is aimed to better protect the rights of customers in direct sales activities.

Healthy and Sustainable Growth Target

In the new draft regulation prepared, the sector aims to achieve a healthy, transparent and sustainable growth and potential grievances are planned to be prevented.

• The rights of consumers,

• Basic principles and principles that direct sales companies will comply with,

• Authorization certificate processes to be given to companies by the Ministry of Commerce,

• Determination of the difference between the legal direct sales system and illegal pyramid systems with clear criteria.

The Ministry also aims to make the draft regulation into the final form with the views and suggestions of the public.
