Ege University Swimming Pool serves individuals of all ages with year -long training.

Ege University continues its activities with swimming trainings in order to make sports a culture of life.

In the courses carried out in the Olympic Swimming Pool, which serves within the Department of Health, Culture and Sports of the University, the participants are grouped according to their age and swimming levels.

The education process focused on individual development
Facility Manager Erdem Çavuşoğlu stated that the courses are planned on the basis of continuity, “The trainees can continue their education as long as they want, they can continue at the level they stay when they stop.

Safe environment with expert instructor staff
Training Coordinator Fatih Azrak said in a statement about the details of the course system, "We give four levels of education from the beginning to advanced level. Our trainers are a graduate of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, the swimming coaching certificate is composed of names. In order to increase the quality of education, new trainers go through a two -month evaluation process."

Facility infrastructure in international standards
Referring to the technical characteristics of the 50 -meter Olympic pool where the trainings are carried out, Azrak said, “The water temperature is kept constant throughout the year. Hygiene conditions are provided at a high level with advanced treatment systems. Our facility offers a comfortable and safe environment for the participants with the locker areas, the audience stands and the emergency intervention room”.

The center where sports and health meet
Pointing out the importance of swimming in terms of physical and mental development, Azrak said, “Ege University Swimming Pool serves as a stress -reducing social area for students, but also for students. Course records are taken through the Health, Culture and Sports Department”.
