Emre Can Durmaz: “Clean sea means a healthy future, we will build this future together”
Speaking at the gala night organized by Çeşme Municipality in cooperation with TÜDAV and Turquoise Coastal Environment Fund, Deputy Mayor Emre Can Durmaz, who spoke at the gala night organized within the scope of the gala night, emphasized the determination to protect the maritime ecosystem with a science -based local government approach.
The “Clean Cesme Clean Sea” movement initiated by Çeşme Municipality with the target of environmental protection was presented to the public with the gala night.
The movement carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Naval Research Foundation (TÜDAV) and the Turquoise Coastal Environment Fund is shaped within the framework of a science -based, harmonious and collective environmental policy.

Speaking at the event, Vice President Emre Can Durmaz, “Clean sea means a healthy future and we will build this future together,” he summarized the main purpose of the movement.
In the workshop, four separate sessions were held on the headings of sea ecosystem, biodiversity, blue economy and sea pollution.
Awareness from the coast to the sea during the Environmental Week
Durmaz, within the scope of June 5-11 Environmental Protection Week, Cesme Municipality's various directorates, TÜDAV, AKUT, universities and environmental volunteers together with the coastal, bottom and environmental cleaning reminded.
Among the events, the awareness of the open sea swimmer Emre Erdogan attracted the attention of the public.
Durmaz thanked all institutions and individuals who contributed to the process and stressed that the environmental struggle will continue with determination.
