Gölbaşı Mayor Yakup Odabaşı participated in the distribution of Ashura after performing the Friday prayer at Şafak Mosque.
Odabaşı made a statement during the event, "Ashura, not only the stomach, but also the hearts will be healing. We wanted to meet around the same boiler with this understanding," he said.
Odabaşı emphasized that the ashura is the symbol of social unity and solidarity in terms of the fact that different materials come together and create flavor in harmony.
