The ceremony was held on the beaches. 
Posbıyık: ‘Our Hygiene and Disciplinary Basic Principle’
President Halil Posbıyık stated that it is not easy to win a ‘blue flag’ and said:

Stating that the rules are clear at the entrance to the beaches, Posbıyık stressed that hygiene and discipline is the basic principle.
Eco -friendly activities were organized for children
Within the scope of the event, special children from Merih Şuğle Secondary School Eco-TIM students and İlkadımlar Rehabilitation Center carried out various environmental activities in the beach.
Zonguldak's only blue flag beach is in Eregli
Sevgi and Peace beaches, the only representative of Zonguldak among the Blue Flag beaches found in the Black Sea Region, become a frequented point not only for the people of Ereğli but also the surrounding provinces and visitors from abroad.
