Israel -based Sometimes Important Statement from Group: Refinery operations in Haifa have been temporarily stopped

Activity stopped due to electrical failure
The Israeli -based energy company sometimes reported that the activities were temporarily stopped at the refinery facilities in Haiffa in an official statement on 16 June 2025.

Maintenance and Repair Studies started
According to the company, the problem took place in one of the company's subsidiaries responsible for electricity generation.

Emphasis on compliance with security and environmental regulations
Sometimes Group also stated that the incident was notified to the authorities to be evaluated in terms of environmental and security regulations.

Operational effect is trying to be kept at a minimum
The company said that emergency plans have been activated in order to reduce the effects of the disruption on the supply chain and that the process has been accelerated to re -commission the affected production lines.
