Ömer Günel: “Özlem Çerçioğlu included the entire Sultanhisar in the zoning revision plan for her own benefit”

Kuşadası Mayor and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ömer Günel, who was a guest on the 'Arena' program presented by Uğur Dündar on Sözcü TV, made remarkable allegations about Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu.

Speaking in the program, Günel claimed that Özlem Çerçioğlu had a zoning revision made in the areas belonging to her and her family in Sultanhisar before joining the AKP.

Günel also stated that the precedent right was increased on another land belonging to the Çerçioğlu family.

Later in the program, former Advisor of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Haldun Haşmet Aysan, who connected by phone, claimed that Çerçioğlu had been misusing public resources for a long time.

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Ertuğrul Yamen, who called on behalf of Özlem Çerçioğlu during the program, was taken off the air by Uğur Dündar due to his long and off-topic answers to the questions.
