Investigation for the CHP Congress in Istanbul was initiated
Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress launched an investigation on the allegations of bribery. Özgür Çelik's allegations of the doubt at the congress won the agenda of politics. A similar investigation was opened in Ankara.

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress on 8 October 2023. At the congress, the competition between Özgür Çelik and Kılıçdaroğlu's candidate Cemal Canpolat, who was elected as the Istanbul Provincial Presidency, came to the agenda with allegations of bribery.
Bribery claims are on the agendaSteel, Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu as a candidate as the winner of the congress, brought along the allegations of bribery. Cemal Canpolat, said in a statement during the congress, "CHP delegates, I can not accept a period you hired to vote for you," he said.
Similar investigation was opened in AnkaraThe Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched a similar “dial” investigation against the congress held on 4-5 November 2023. These developments within the CHP made the struggle for power within the party and the allegations of corruption even more pronounced.
