Parking Period, which collects rain water in Ankara, has begun: sample environmental move from the municipality
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has made rain water collection systems compulsory in new parking lots built throughout the city.

In the application initiated as a pilot in Ankara, rain water is accumulated thanks to the cisterns placed under the parking lot.

Collected rain water will be used especially in the irrigation of green areas in parks and refugees.

Support from Citizen
While the inhabitants of the city positively meet the application, experts suggest that such systems are compulsory in big cities such as Istanbul and Izmir.
