Surprising Items Seized at Airport Security: Nutella Jars Among the Forbidden Products

Items Often Seized During Airport Security Checks
Air travel security is essential for passenger safety, but it also means that certain items are prohibited from being brought onto the plane. A study conducted at Paris-Orly Airport in France revealed some of the most common forbidden items seized during baggage checks. These include sharp objects, flammable materials, and large liquid containers. Specifically, items such as lighters, knives, deodorants, perfumes, and large bottles of beverages are regularly confiscated.

One of the most surprising banned items found during security checks was Nutella jars. Due to their large size, Nutella jars are considered liquid and are not permitted in carry-on luggage. Other unusual items commonly seized by security personnel include drills, impact drills, and kettlebell weights.

Importance of Checking Baggage Rules
When packing for a flight, it’s crucial to ensure that no prohibited items are included. Carry-on liquids should not exceed 100 ml, and sharp or piercing objects should be avoided entirely. Failure to follow security rules during the flight process can result in unnecessary delays and the confiscation of personal items, causing inconvenience to passengers.
