A Major Investment from Fesih Zeki Mert: EBS Global Headquarters Opens in Canada

A global move by a Turkish businessman
Fesih Zeki Mert, the Turkish entrepreneur behind Van Horn Construction in Canada, continues to make significant strides in international construction and investment. His latest major venture is the opening of the Canada-based headquarters of EBS Global.

Strong attendance at the grand opening
The opening ceremony of the EBS Global headquarters saw high-level participation. Representing the Canadian government were Minister of Red Tape Reduction Andrea Khanjin, Minister of Justice Doug Downey, Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions Michael Tibollo, Barrie Mayor Alex Nuttall, Members of Parliament John Brassard and Doug Shipley, and Barrie City Councillor Clare Riepma.

Facility to provide employment for over 600 people
Constructed with the latest technology, the EBS Global facility is expected to create jobs for more than 600 people. Other notable attendees included RESCON President Richard Lyall, CFAO (Ontario Concrete Formwork Association) President Rocco Lotito, Economic Urban Form Director Carlos Sousa, and Barrie Chamber of Commerce CEO Paul Markle.

International investments continue
Previously, Fesih Zeki Mert had launched the elipshaber.com news platform and Elips TV under FAB Yayıncılık A.Ş. He also formed a 50-50 partnership with Planet Turkey, a subsidiary of Greece's leading company Planet SA. Following his investments in China and Ukraine, the Canadian headquarters of EBS Global is the latest addition to his global expansion.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mert emphasized that this opening is more than just an office:
