AK Party Mervan Gül: "Coal Power Plants are strategic bridge in energy security"
AK Party Siirt Deputy Mervan Gul, in his speech at the General Assembly of the Assembly, strategic importance of domestic coal power plants in terms of energy supply safety.
Within the scope of the Law on Energy and Mining Regulations on the Big National Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, AK Party Siirt Deputy Mervan Gül took the floor.

Mervan Gül stated that the AK Party is the basis of the energy policies carried out by the AK Party, and said, “While establishing an independent energy structure with our domestic resources, we are accelerating the transition to renewable energy.”

Domestic coal plants are not temporary for energy supply safety, but a strategic element, arguing that Türkiye produces 83 million tons of coal in 2023 and this reached a 10 percent share in electricity generation.
