Ali Yerlikaya: "The structure entered into public systems with a fake document and the structure entered into public systems"
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, 23 provinces on January 7, 16 provinces on May 23 in the simultaneous operations with a false document e-signature producing e-signature and illegal access to public systems, 197 suspects were arrested, 37 of them were arrested.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, social media account said in a statement to the organized crime structure that organizes fake diplomas, driver's license and electronic signatures announced that large -scale operations have been carried out.
Operation in two waves
The first operation was carried out by the Ankara Provincial Police Department Cyber Crimes Branch Directorate under the coordination of Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on January 7, 2025 in Ankara based in 23 provinces.
The second wave operation was held simultaneously in 16 provinces on 23 May 2025.
Members of the criminal organization arrested
A total of 197 people were arrested in two operations.
According to the information given by Minister Yerlikaya 57 fake diplomas, 108 fake driver license and 4 fake high school graduation certificates were identified.
The ministry said that the fight against people and structures trying to infiltrate public institutions by issuing a fake document will continue with determination.
