Bank promotions rose up to 25 thousand pounds after a hike to pensions

Together with the TurkStat data announced on July 3, 2025, the July hike rate of SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees was determined as 16.67 percent.

With the decision of hike, the lowest pension was increased from 14 thousand 469 pounds to 16 thousand 681 pounds.

Promotional payments re -updated
In March 2024, in line with the promotional protocol signed between the Social Security Institution and 19 banks, automatically updates were made due to the increase in salary in payments to retirees.

Promotion amounts ranging from 10 thousand to 20 thousand pounds in the past years, as of July rose to 25 thousand pounds.

In the new system, promotional payments are determined according to the pension amount.

Yapı Kredi and Ing Bank pay up to 25 thousand pounds for retirees carrying the salary.
