Pursaklar 3rd Book Days Wraps Up with a Fitting Grand Finale
The 3rd Pursaklar Book Days festival, attended by 85 publishers and 85 authors, concluded with a spectacular final event that received high praise from book lovers across Ankara.
Pursaklar Municipality’s 3rd Pursaklar Book Days festival, which took place at the Yaşam Center over ten days, came to an unforgettable conclusion. With 85 publishers and 85 authors in attendance, the event received widespread recognition from book enthusiasts. Citizens from all across Ankara came to enjoy a dynamic mix of literary talks, book signings, and engaging sessions with prominent figures from the worlds of literature, thought, and media.
The event, which attracted tens of thousands of visitors ranging from young children to adults, successfully brought together readers with leading names in literature, thought, and media every day.
Pursaklar Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin highlighted the growing success of the event, saying, "The interest in the Traditional Pursaklar Book Days has been increasing every year. With the 3rd Pursaklar Book Days, book lovers had the opportunity to attend valuable author talks and experience the insights and ideas of our esteemed writers. They were also able to have their books signed. People of all ages, from 7 to 70, spent ten enriching days surrounded by books. The main goal of our Book Days event is for every citizen to have a book waiting for them by their bedside to read. I would like to thank all the authors, publishers, and citizens who participated. Next year, we will bring even more books and more readers together."
The event reached its peak on the final day, with a memorable talk and book signing session by authors Saliha Erdim and Bekir Develi, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
