GOOD Party Yasin Ozturk: ​​"The so -called climate law brings incentives to supporting capital, and the public imposes uncontrolled burden"

GOOD Party Denizli Deputy Yasin Öztürk, who took the floor regarding the Climate Law Proposal, which is being discussed at the General Assembly of the Parliament, described the proposal of the government as a "green -looking but rent -oriented law".

Öztürk emphasized that the arrangement, known as the emission trade system (ETS), offers a new gateway to the capital groups that pollute the environment, not the public, and said, “This system is a gold mine for capital and for the public for the public.”

"It is not clear who will be given to allocations"
Öztürk stated that there is no clarity of the criteria of carbon allocation in the proposal and said, “The issue of free allocation is one of the most critical rent gates of this law proposal.”

"No public control, civil society was left out"
Stating that the decision mechanisms were left to the central administration, Öztürk said that civil society, local governments and professional chambers were left out of the process.

"Public resources are transferred to the private sector under the name of green economy"
Ozturk argued that the law paves the way for the companies that pollute the environment by taking incentives and benefit from public resources.

"This law protects the rent, not nature"
At the end of his speech, Öztürk said “This proposal is not for nature, but for the supporters, and called for the withdrawal of the bill and the preparation of a real, scientific and social -based climate law”.
