MHP Afyonkarahisar Deputy Mehmet Taytak: “The resistance in Gaza reflects the spirit of faith and determination of the Turkish nation.”

Afyonkarahisar’da düzenlenen Great Offensive 4th International Short Film Festival kapsamında gerçekleştirilen programda, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Afyonkarahisar Deputy Mehmet Taytak bir konuşma yaptı. Taytak, Türk milletinin destansı mücadelesine ve Gazze’deki direniş ruhuna dikkat çekti.

In his speech, Deputy Taytak emphasized that the festival is not only an art event but also a symbol of the resurrection of a nation.

The unifying power of art
Taytak emphasized the place of culture and art in the memory of a nation and stated that the festival is a bridge connecting the past and the future.

Emphasis on the movie “Phoenix Gaza”
Konuşmasında festivalde yer alan “Phoenix Gaza” adlı kısa filmden de bahseden Taytak, yapımın yalnızca bir sanat eseri değil, aynı zamanda direnişin sembolü olduğunu söyledi. “Gazze’deki mücadele, insanlığın suskunluğuna karşı bir vicdan çağrısıdır.” ifadesini kullandı. Türk milletinin tarih boyunca küllerinden doğduğunu hatırlatan Taytak, Gazze’deki direnişin aynı inançtan beslendiğini dile getirdi.

“The prayer of the oppressed prevails”
Taytak stated that the prayers of the oppressed will always prevail against the oppression of the oppressor and said, "Today, we are honored to be the voice of the innocents in Gaza."

At the end of his speech, Taytak stated that the struggle in Gaza has become the voice of peace.
