Public workers announced a hike proposal: 16 percent was proposed in the first six months

The Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers' Union (TÜHİS), representing the employer's side in the public collective bargaining framework protocol negotiations concerning approximately 600 thousand workers working in the public sector, announced the expected hike offer.

Within the scope of the talks, TÜHİS offered 16 percent for the first six months and 8 percent for the second six -month period.
Türk-İş and Hak-İş will evaluate the proposal
Previously, the workers' trade unions, which presented their joint demands to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, will evaluate the raise proposal by examining the raise.
New negotiations are expected to be held in recent meetings.
