320 Palestinian children, who were influenced by Israel's attacks in Gaza and brought to Turkey, are supported by the Summer School program organized by the Ministry of National Education.
The summer school program was launched by the Ministry of National Education for Palestinian children who were victims of Israel's attacks on Gaza and brought to Turkey for treatment.
The program covers 320 students in the 7-18 age group.
6 separate groups, comprehensive content
The program, which is carried out in 6 different groups to cover different age groups and students in need of special education, provides support for children in both academic and social areas.
Turkish education and cultural workshops are in the foreground
Within the scope of the summer school, various workshops and lessons such as Turkish education, handicrafts, drama activities, Quran teaching, oil painting and painting lessons, sports and swimming are offered to Palestinian children.
It was stated that the activities were carried out by experienced teachers and master instructors in accordance with the age and ability levels of the students.
Social adaptation support for children who are victims of war
The program also aims to contribute to the rehabilitation processes of trauma due to conflicts in Gaza.
