Temperatures in Türkiye will increase 12 degrees, the new hot air wave will be effective

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) issued a warning on a new wave of hot air, which is expected to be effective in the majority of Türkiye between 26 July and 2 August.

Dangerous temperature increase is expected in the inner parts
The temperature increase will be effective especially in Central Anatolia, Inner Aegean, West of Eastern Anatolia and the inner parts of the Black Sea.

Record temperature estimates in metropolitan cities
According to estimates, the air temperature in Ankara and Izmir will reach 40 degrees.

Temperature will also rise in the coastal regions
It is stated that temperatures will increase by 3 to 6 degrees in the coastal parts.

Temperatures will lose its effect at the beginning of the month
According to Meteorology, the effect of the hot air wave will decrease in Wednesday, July 30 in the western regions and Saturday, August 2 in the eastern regions.

Critical Warnings from Experts
Citizens were advised to consume plenty of fluids, to be in cool environments and not to go to the sun between 11.00-16.00.
