The debate over 'she sold her son's blood' is growing: What did Şükriye Acı say about the 100 million TL claims?

Complaint against those who caused the accident was withdrawn
Şükriye Aci, the wife of Oğuz Murat Aci, who lost her life in a traffic accident in Kemerburgaz, Istanbul, is listed as a complainant in the file and has withdrawn her complaints against the four people injured in the accident, as well as both the perpetrator of the accident, Timur Cihantimur, and his mother Eylem Tok. The petition to withdraw the complaint was submitted to the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office by Şükriye Aci's lawyer, Ahmet Aslan.

The compensation was paid by Bülent Cihantimur
In the petition, it was stated that the material and moral damages suffered by Şükriye Aci were covered by Bülent Cihantimur, the father of Timur Cihantimur, who caused the accident. The text included the phrases, 'our material and moral damages have been compensated.'

Reactions rose from the bitter family
Oğuz Murat Aci's father, Özer Aci, announced that they have not given up on the case and will continue their struggle. Özer Aci said, "They will receive the heaviest punishment. This case will be an example."

The words 'He sold my son's blood' became a hot topic
Oğuz Murat Aci's mother, Pervin Aci, used harsh words towards her daughter-in-law, Şükriye Aci. Claiming that her daughter-in-law was living a luxurious life and had withdrawn from the case for money, Aci said, "She sold my son's blood. I do not forgive her."

Response to the 100 million TL claim
Şükriye Aci, who faced allegations that she received 100 million TL after withdrawing from the case, denied these allegations. Stating that the figure mentioned by her husband's father Özer Aci was untrue, Aci said, 'This is said because the owner of these claims expected this amount, we are definitely not talking about such an extraordinary amount of money.' Aci stated that the compensation received was fair for her and her son, and said, 'I know the public lawsuit will continue. However, I decided to withdraw from the case because I was worn out by my husband's family.'

History of the incident
On March 1, 2024, one of the 3 ATV vehicles broke down in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, and the vehicle was pulled over. At this time, one of the two vehicles coming from behind crashed into the broken-down vehicle. While 5 people were injured in the accident, Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life. It was determined that 17-year-old Timur Cihantimur, who caused the accident, was kidnapped from the scene by his mother Eylem Tok and that they went to Egypt and then to the USA together.
