Yusuf Tekin: ‘Our children at 75 thousand schools spend this week with fun and instructive activities’

End of Term Activity Week Activities Started in Ankara

National Education Minister Yusuf Tekin visited Şehit Mustafa Ünal Secondary School in Keçiören district of Ankara and attended the end of the period in the last week of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Evaluation Meeting with Educators

After the visit, Minister Tekin met with the educators in the teachers' room and thanked the teachers for their efforts throughout the year.

Thousands of activities are held in 75 thousand schools

Tekin stated that the end of the period offers the opportunity to practice and exhibit one -year educational gains of the students in an entertaining way.

‘We want to train healthy generations with traditional games’

Tekin said that they attach importance to traditional games from the moment he took office and said that school gardens were transformed into playgrounds in order to remove children from digital addiction and increase physical activities.

Educational Technologies Summit will be held on June 20

Minister Tekin stated that artificial intelligence and digital technologies will be used more intensively in education.

Technology and hardware demand from teachers

During the visit, the teachers thanked by stating that they participated in the projects more actively on the renewal of the computers they requested in the previous year within the scope of TÜBİTAK projects.

Surprise Birthday Celebration

A surprise celebration was held in the Teachers' Room due to the birthday of Hatice Yıldız, a religious culture and ethics teacher.
