AK Party Zonguldak Deputy Muammer Avcı: “Filyos Port Railway Line will add export power to Zonguldak”

AK Parti Zonguldak Milletvekili Muammer AvcıIn his speech at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, he shared the details of the new investment that will connect Filyos Port to the National Railway Network.

5 billion TL investment, 7,170 meters railway line

Projenin ihale bedelinin 5 milyar TL olduğunu belirten Avcı, yapılacak demir yolu hattının toplam uzunluğunun 7.170 metre olduğunu, bu hat içerisinde 387 meters long railway bridge de yer alacağını açıkladı. Bu hattın, Türkiye'nin üçüncü büyük limanı olan Filyos Portstressed that it will directly integrate into the railway system.

"Filyos Port is part of the vision of the blue homeland"

Avcı also mentioned the historical importance of the harbor in his speech and said, “The Port of Filyos, which is the century-old dream of Abdulhamid-i Sani of Paradise, became a symbol of our sovereignty in the blue homeland in 2021”.

Export and logistics capacity will increase

Stating that the investment is strategic not only in transportation, but also in terms of regional development and exports, Avcı said, “The logistics infrastructure will be strengthened and its export potential will increase”.
