AK Party's Kürşad Zorlu: 'Türkiye has become a regional power in the Turkish world'

AK Party's Kürşad Zorlu: 'Türkiye has become a regional power in the Turkish world'

AK Party Deputy Chairman Kürşad Zorlu visited his party's provincial headquarters in Erzurum and made statements about Türkiye's effectiveness in foreign policy and its relations with the Turkish world.
 
 
Zorlu stated that he joined active politics in 2022 and assumed important duties within the AK Party. Reminding that he was appointed as the Head of Relations with Turkic States by the President, Zorlu said that this structure strengthened cooperation with the Turkic world.
 
'Türkiye has gained power in the Turkish world'
 
Zorlu stated that Türkiye has gained an important position in global and regional politics, adding, "Türkiye has become a voice against oppressed communities and injustices not only in its own region but also in the world."
 
Touching on the importance of the Organization of Turkic States, Zorlu said, "This structure, which was institutionalized in 2021, contributes to the Turkic world becoming an actor on a global scale by increasing economic and cultural cooperation."
 
New units to be established in Erzurum
 
Stating that they aim to increase their party's vote rate in Erzurum to 70 percent, Zorlu said that new units will be established in the city and that work will be carried out to further strengthen relations with the Turkish world. Stressing that Erzurum is an important center in terms of Turkish culture, Zorlu said, 'The work we will do here will both contribute to socio-cultural dynamics and guide political processes.'
