TURKPA 14th General Assembly was held in Astana
The 14th General Assembly and Assembly Council Meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) was held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmuş also attended the meeting.

Emphasis on parliamentary cooperation
At the meeting, the parliamentary speakers of the member countries came together and made evaluations on regional cooperation, parliamentary diplomacy and a common future vision. The aim of strengthening political and cultural ties between the Turkic world was highlighted in the program, which was also attended by Numan Kurtulmuş.

Critical contacts in Astana
It was reported that Numan Kurtulmuş also held bilateral meetings with representatives of other countries during the General Assembly. The meetings discussed the mutual legislative experiences of the Turkish states, joint legislative activities and strategic communication.
