Anatolian Union Party Chairman Bedri Yalçın: "August 30 is the summit of the struggle for independence of our nation"

Bedri Yalçın, Chairman of the Anatolian Union Party, issued a message on August 30 Victory Day and the 103th anniversary of the Turkish Armed Forces Day.

Yalçın said in a statement, “August 30, 1922 is the day when our nation shows the determination of the homeland and the love of freedom to the whole world. This victory is the greatest proof of the independent and honorable stance of the Turkish nation.”

Turkish Armed Forces Emphasis
Bedri Yalçın stated that the Turkish Armed Forces is the greatest assurance of the nation and said, “Our heroic army is the most powerful power that protects the unity and integrity of our homeland. The courage and sacrifice of our Mehmetçiks is the source of pride of our nation.”

Message for martyrs and veterans
Yalçın, by emphasizing special emphasis on martyrs and veterans, “We commemorate our saint martyrs with mercy and grateful of our hero veterans. Thanks to their sacrifice, we live in a free homeland today and continue to protect our independence.”

Call for unity and solidarity
Yalçın, who gave a message of unity at the end of his statement, said, “The Turkish nation has overcome every difficulty throughout history with the spirit of unity and solidarity. We will build a stronger Turkey with the same belief and perseverance. Happy 30 August Victory Day.”
