According to the information obtained, Arslan's joining the party will be announced at the IYI Party Parliamentary Group Meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10.00 am. At the same meeting, Arslan will be pinned with his party badge by IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu.

In a message sent to his close circle regarding the party's joining ceremony, Arslan said, "I would be happy to see you with me at my IYI Party's joining ceremony. In the message, it was stated that those who will attend the meeting should inform their Turkish ID numbers in advance.
He was in Mansur Yavaş's team in the past
Yüksel Arslan was previously the chief of staff of Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş. With this background, Arslan's return to the IYI Party is considered as a remarkable step in the lobbies.
