Communication President Burhanettin Duran: "We are struggling for a system where the righteous is strong, not strong"

Burhanettin Duran, President of the Presidency Communication, sent a video message to the panel titled "The search for justice in the international system: the reconstruction of the global order from crises" organized in New York Türkevi within the scope of the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

Duran said in his message that the UN has made significant contributions in the fields of global peace, security and international cooperation since its establishment in 1945, but its current structure is far from representing today's dynamic and complex problems.

UN Reform Requirement
Duran stated that recent crises reveal the inadequacy of the UN, “Israel's destruction in Gaza is one of the most striking examples of the unjust and dysfunctional functioning of the existing structure”.

Call for Global Order based justice
Stating that justice should come to the fore as a basic concept in his speech, Duran said, “In line with the understanding of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,‘ A more fair world is possible ’, we strive for justice, equality and stability on every platform on every platform”.

Stating that Turkey's calls for reform are the voice of the oppressed peoples and global conscience, Duran said that an order gained by the right, not the strong, said that the righteousness should be established.
