Ertuğrul Çetin: 'The strategies displayed by little masters in chess are admirable'

Little minds develop with chess in Pursaklar
Nezaket Schools affiliated with Pursaklar Municipality organized a Traditional Chess Tournament to support children's mental development. The tournament was held at Nezaket Nursery School. While families showed great interest in the event, young students competed fiercely.
 
The Mayor did not leave the children alone
Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin, who attended the chess tournament, followed the competitions closely. Çetin stated that he was impressed by the strategic thinking skills the children showed in each move.
 
'I watched the struggle of the little masters'
Speaking after the tournament, Mayor Ertuğrul Çetin emphasized that chess contributes to the mental development of children and said: 'I attended the Chess Tournament held at Nezaket Kindergarten and watched the fierce competition of the little masters. It is very valuable to observe the strategic thinking skills of children and support their development with such activities. We will continue to organize similar events in the coming years.'
 
Awards for children who won
At the end of the program, President Çetin presented the awards to the students who won the tournament. Çetin, who took a close interest in all the children who participated in the competition, congratulated each one individually.
