Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya: "We are effectively struggling with irregular migration with our mobile migration point vehicles"

105 new vehicles on the field
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said in a statement at the "Mobile Migration Point Point of Service" in Ankara and 105 new vehicles have been added to the mobile migration point vehicles that play an active role in the fight against irregular migration.

Being the first in the world
Yerlikaya stated that these vehicles were implemented in Turkey for the first time in the world and that the application started in Istanbul on 19 July 2023 and became widespread in 81 provinces.

Foreigners who cannot submit their immigrant identity are directed to mobile vehicles and subjected to identity control.

Yerlikaya pointed out that the application increases deterrence against immigrant smuggling, said the vehicles are used in controls from city centers to terminals at many points.
