MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz: “Productive Municipality is Not Just a Management Model; It is a Conception of Morality and Civilization”

Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi Genel Başkan Yardımcısı ve Ankara Milletvekili Sadir Durmaz, Genel Başkan Devlet Bahçeli's himayelerinde gerçekleştirilen “Mayors Consultation and Evaluation Meeting” açılışında konuştu. Durmaz, toplantının her yıl partinin yerel yönetim vizyonunu güçlendiren önemli bir platform olduğunu belirtti.

Durmaz emphasized that urbanization concepts do not only consist of development plans and said, "Our urbanization understanding is an understanding that is nourished by culture, reflects the essence of civilization, and centers on people."

“Productive Municipality is a Brand and Ethics”
Stating that the Nationalist Movement Party has become a brand with its "Productive Municipalism" model in local governments, Durmaz said, "This understanding targets not only physical transformation but also human-centered, sustainable cities."

“Resilient Cities are a Strategic Goal”
Durmaz stated that climate change and natural disasters directly affect the future of cities and said, "Our country, located in the Mediterranean zone, is one of the countries most affected by the climate crisis."

“Love of the Homeland is the Strongest Source of Local Service”
Chairman Devlet Bahçeli said, "Love of the homeland is the greatest power of serving the nation."

“Terror-free Türkiye Goal Turned into a State Project”
Durmaz emphasized that Turkey has been damaged by terrorism for nearly half a century and said, "The goal of a terror-free Türkiye started with the call of Mr. Bahçeli and turned into a state project with the will of our President."

Durmaz concluded his speech by wishing that the meeting would be beneficial and wished all mayors success in their work.
