Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş: "In the digital world, the Children's Rights Convention is introduced internationally"

Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services, met Najat Maalla M’Jid, the Special Representative of Violence against Children of the United Nations (UN) Secretary General of the United Nations (UN).

During the meeting, the security of children, protective family services and protection of children's rights in the digital age came to the fore.

Digital Security Emphasis
Minister Göktaş, UNICEF workshops organized in cooperation with more than 40 thousand parents and child care personnel safe internet use training was given.

Göktaş recalled that the "Children's Rights Convention on the Digital World" was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which was prepared together with the Institute Social, emphasized that this initiative was introduced at national and international level.

UN Secretary General Najat Maalla M’jid, Special Representative to Violence against Children, said that Turkey's work in the field of children is an example for many countries.
