Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya: “A 6.1 Magnitude Earthquake Occurred in Balıkesir Sındırgı”
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced in his statement on his social media account that a 6.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Sındırgı district of Balıkesir.
İçişleri Bakanı Ali Yerlikaya, Balıkesir’in 6.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Sındırgı district hakkında açıklamada bulundu. Yerlikaya, depremin çevre illerde de hissedildiğini ifade etti.
Minister Yerlikaya said in his post: “An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred in Balıkesir Sındırgı. " he said.
Expressing his wishes for a speedy recovery in his statement, Yerlikaya said, “I offer my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake. ” he said.
It was reported that AFAD teams continued their field surveys throughout the region, and according to initial findings, there were noticeable tremors in some regions.
