President Erdoğan: "I will raise the human disaster in Gaza at the UN General Assembly"

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference at the Atatürk Airport State Guest House before the USA to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

Erdogan, the UN General Assembly this year "better peace, development and human rights for 80 years and more" will be held with the theme.

Erdogan said that many countries would recognize Palestine as a state and that they hope that it will accelerate the two -state solution.

Answering questions from members of the press, Erdogan said, "As of now, 140 countries in the UN know Palestine in the UN. As this number increases, Palestine's recognition will develop further."

Interview with US President Trump
Erdogan said he would meet with US President Donald Trump in Washington on Thursday (September 25th).

Response to Özgür Özel's claims
