President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan joined the City of Five Painters in Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Palace.

Erdoğan stated that Istanbul is a unique city in terms of history, culture and civilization.

Istanbul and art emphasis

Referring to the importance of Istanbul in the culture and art life of Istanbul in his speech, Erdogan said, “Istanbul has been the ser plate of our art works with its historical and cultural depth. The legacy of all civilizations has been kept in this city”.

SERVICES AND PROJECTS

President Erdoğan stated that he has been honored to serve Istanbul for 28 years and reminded the projects such as Marmaray, Eurasia Tunnel, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Büyük Çamlıca Mosque, Istanbul Airport, Atatürk Cultural Center, Hagia Sophia-i Kebir Mosque and Rami Library.

Erdoğan stated that the vision of the Turkish century will be shaped by the works of culture, art and literature people and called for young artists to get inspiration from great masters.
