Real lawyer Rezan Epözdemir was detained in Istanbul in a bribery and espionage investigation
Münevver Karabulut and Pınar Gültekin were the lawyers of the victim families in the cases of Rezan Epözdemir, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the order of bribery, FETÖ'ye aid and political-military espionage charges were detained.
Lawyer Rezan Epözdemir was detained on the morning of 10 August 2025 within the scope of two separate investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Simultaneous searches were made in Epözdemir's house and the law firm in Levent.
The prosecution statement, "10/08/2025 at 05.45 at 05.45 investigations about the suspect continues," the statement was given.
On the day of the incident, it was learned that Epözdemir was planning to go to London.
Who is Rezan Epözdemir
Born in 1984 in Fatih, Istanbul, Rezan Epözdemir is a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Law.
