TBB Vice President Vahap Seçer: "A person without a crime is concerned that he can be arrested at any moment"

Association of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB) Deputy Mayor of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Vahap Seçer, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, together with Silivri Prison, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem Imamoglu, Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar and other mayors visited.

After the visit, Seçer made statements to members of the press and criticized the imprisonment and political prohibition of the Court of Appeal in the “fake case özgün for the Imamoğlu.

"A sense of trust in society is damaged"
Seçer stated that the joint expectation of the prisoners was the preparation of the indictments and the cases were concluded as soon as possible.

Selener, not only the mayors of the prisoner, but the Republican People's Party as a whole, emphasizing that, "Our aim is to protect our party against these attacks, to defend, to increase our power and to fight against the power. We are trying to reach Turkey with the support of the people," he said.

"A fool case is an issue that cannot even be commenting for us"
Answering the question about the punishment given to Ekrem İmamoğlu, Seçer, “A person to be punished for a‘ fool ’discourse and becomes a political forbidden is extremely ironic situation. For us, even to comment on these claims is a cruelty”.
