After the allegation of ‘baklavacı’ about CHP leader Özgür Özel, an investigation was initiated
While the arrests continued in the bribery investigation against Manavgat Municipality, the claims of CHP leader Özgür Özel created a new debate.
Mayor Niyazi Nefi Kara and Deputy Mayor Mehmet Engin Tüter were arrested within the scope of the bribe investigation initiated on 4 July in Manavgat district of Antalya.
While the repercussions of the investigation continued, CHP leader Özgür Özel expressed remarkable allegations at the open -air meeting held in Antalya.
According to Özel's statements, four more parliamentary members were detained with the names given by the baklava.
Following these statements, the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation about Özgür Özen within the scope of Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code on the grounds that this information was given to the public and the potential to disrupt public peace.
