AK Party Deputy Emel Gözükara Durmaz: “The Climate Law is a strategic step taken to the future of the future”
AK Party Bursa Deputy Emel Genlükara Durmaz, discussed in the Parliament, the Climate Law proposal is an environmentalist law beyond being a framework of economic and social transformation, he said.
Speaking at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, AK Party Bursa Deputy Emel Gözükara Durmaz, made assessments about the Climate Law Proposal.
"The Climate Law is not only the environment but the Development Law"
Durmaz said that the law proposal brings many innovations such as climate justice, fair transition, clean production and green business areas.
"Emission revenues will be transferred directly to green transformation"
Durmaz noted that clean production will be encouraged in the industrial sectors with the proposal and emphasized that all revenues from the Emission Trade System will be used in climatic investments.
"Disaster -resistant cities and agricultural sustainability are targeted"
Durmaz, increasing pharynx areas, forest and pasture protection, water and food safety elements such as priority in the law, he said.
"Joint work was carried out with civil society"
Stating that non -governmental organizations, academy and local governments contributed to the preparation process, Durmaz said, “This struggle against the climate crisis is the common responsibility of all of us”.
